Cultivated on the volcanic slopes of Mount Elgon in Eastern Uganda, this coffee embodies the rich biodiversity and altitude-driven complexity of one of Africa’s oldest and most fertile highland ecosystems. Grown by dedicated smallholder farmers around Mbale Town, this AA-grade lot showcases the power of traditional East African coffee craftsmanship.
Harvested between May and August 2024, the coffee features heritage Typica, Bourbon, and SL28 varietals. Cherries are fully washed and sun-dried on tarpaulins, preserving the crisp structure and clarity that Bugisu coffees are known for.
